FLT Driver

Job Description

You will be working for a national cold store distributor in the heart of Heywood Distribution park. This is a brand-new warehouse on Heywood distribution park, this will be ongoing work with the possibility of perm contract for the right candidates. Genuine chance of progression.

Job Location:                      Heywood

Standard Pay Rate:            £10.31p/h shift allowance added for nights                                                             

Overtime Pay Rate:            Available                                                                              

Working Hours:                 Various Shifts available see below;

0800-2000

1800-0600

Days of Work:                    Continental Shift Pattern 12 hour shifts 4 On 4 off

Must be able to easily access Heywood distribution park

Chilled/Cold Store/Refrigerated warehouse

About the role

We are looking for experienced FLT REACH DRIVERSto work in our purpose-built refrigerated warehouse to work as part of a dedicated team to get orders prepared and dispatched in a fast and efficient manner.

Specifics

• Operating the reach trucks with in a refrigerated environment
• Palletising products
• Updating relevant paperwork if required

What we need from you/min requirements

• Have strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Have the ability to multi task and prioritise tasks.
• Be enthusiastic, self-motivated and proactive.
• Be willing to ask for help when needed.
• Be a strong team player.
• Have previous experience working in a warehouse Environment
• Have previous experience using hand held scanners and working from pick lists
• Must have a min of 1 years FLT experience
• Must have IN DATE CERTIFIED FLT LICENCE WE CAN NOT ACCEPT INHOUSE LICENCES  
• Be able to lift heavy items
• Must be able to easily access Heywood distribution park
