Job Location:                       Hollinwood, Oldham (OL9 area)                

Standard Pay Rate:             £9.88 per hour  

Working Hours:                   40 hours per week                                                 

Days of Work:                     Monday to Friday, 14.00 pm - 22.00 pm.

About the role

Working in the stores department controlling stock levels and ensure movement of items is documented. 

Specifics

  • To ensure all components/items which move in and out of stores is documented, raise GRN’s for incoming stock. 
  • When faulty/incorrect goods are received follow procedures to return them and update the returns spreadsheet accordingly
  • Matching components to the correct job, issue components/items to those who require them, maintain component stock control using PC database
  • Provide feedback to team leader with any stock issues that need to be adjusted or reviewed
  • Update the BOSS repair/tracking system with information as required 
  • Be familiar with operational procedures/H&S

What we need from you

  • Must have 8 - 12 months previous stores and purchasing experience 
  • Must be self-motivated and a willingness to learn.
  • Working on own initiative.
  • Must have intermediate computer skills / Good knowledge of IT.
  • Must have a keen eye for detail
  • Composite safety boots

Induction on first day, full on the job training. This is ongoing and possibility of a permanent job at the end.

On site induction, Full training provided, on site car park, close to tram and bus links, weekly pay

About the role

Working in the warehouse this job involves standing at a desk scanning stock and inputting information onto the inhouse computer system once repaired goods are back from the Engineers your job will be to test them and clean and pack items before being sent back to the customer.  

Specifics

  • Working in the warehouse you will scan each item and input the relevant information onto the in house computer system, moving and relocating goods and pallets around the warehouse
  • Once items have been repaired you will test clean and pack items before they go back to the customer.
  • Very heavy lifting is involved as the items can range from a drill to a lawnmower 

What we need from you

  • Must be self-motivated and a willingness to learn.
  • Working on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • The job involves heavy lifting so must be able to lift heavy items and be physically fit. 
  • Must have intermediate computer skills.
  • Ideally previous warehouse experience in the last 12 months
  • Must have a keen eye for detail
  • Scanning and inputting information onto the in-house computer system
  • Composite safety boots

Job Location:                       Hollinwood, Oldham                  

Standard Pay Rate:             £9.88 per hour  

Working Hours:                   42.5 hours per week / Overtime available                                                 

Days of Work:                     Monday to Friday, Various shifts between 06.00 - 22.00. Usually 06.00 - 14.00 or 14.00 - 22.00.

About the role

Working on a fast-paced production line booking stock in, testing, cleaning and packing small domestic appliances. 

Specifics

  • Working on the production line you will receive a pallet of small domestic appliances (microwaves/food processers/vacuum cleaners etc) from the warehouse.
  • You will scan and book them in onto the in house computer system before being sent to the engineers for repair/refurbishment.
  • Other job aspects involve testing the appliances, cleaning, packing and quality checking before they are returned to the customer.

Working as part of the team of Testers your role will involve testing all electrical appliances that can be found in Homes, garden and leisure you will test appliances once they have been repaired by the engineers and clean and pack ready to go back out to the customer.

  • Working as a Tester testing, cleaning and packing all electrical appliances that can be found in Homes, garden and leisure. 
  • Once items have been tested and are correct they will go back to the customer.
  • Inputting customer and product information into the in-house computer system
