Kingdom Recruitment (Acting as a recruitment business) are recruiting for an experienced Housekeeping Assistant on behalf of a prestigious client in London City Centre.
This is a full time role working 10am-7pm Wednesday-Sunday.
Pay rate: £9.15 per hour
We are looking for reliable and friendly Housekeeping Assistants to join our client's hospitality team in order to provide superb customer service to their guests. Your duties will include ensuring that assigned rooms are fully stocked, cleaned, and serviced to a high standard. You should also be able to resolve guest complaints and queries promptly and in a polite manner.
To be successful as a room attendant you must be honest, pleasant, and have detailed knowledge of, and comply with, all housekeeping policies, procedures, and standards.
As a Housekeeping Assistant you will have an eye for detail and a passion for cleaning. You will be expected to work in a team to ensure the rooms and all areas of the hotel are ready on time, to a high standard and greeting our guests with a smile and warm welcome as they pass you on the corridors.
Housekeeping Assistants have just as much interaction with the guests as any other staff member – so you must be passionate about hospitality and delivering amazing service to our guests with a smile and personality.
·Changing bed linen and making beds.
·Replacing used towels and other bathroom amenities, such as shampoo and soap.
·Sweeping and mopping floors.
·Dusting and polishing furniture.
·Emptying trash containers and ashtrays.
·Restocking beverages and food items in the minibar.
·Cleaning public areas, such as corridors.
·Updating status of guest rooms on assignment sheet.
·Previous guest service and/or housekeeping experience.
·Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and products.
·Flexible working hours.
·Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards.
·Physical mobility and stamina.
·Ability to follow instructions.
