Job Description

Job Title: HR Advisor

Location: Hollinwood, Oldham

Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum

Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

Role: Permanent

 

The Role

Due to growth our client is recruiting for a HR Advisor to join the team at their Head Office based in Holiinwood, Oldham. The UK's leading B2B and consumer electronics repair, refurbishment and return-to-market, service company, this business is based upon supporting major manufacturers and retailers who need to maximise revenue from returned customer purchases. You will be working as part of a small team within the HR department, this is a busy role where no two days will be the same!

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and supporting the full range or HR activities within the employee lifecycle
  • Providing HR support for a client group within the technical services department
  • Providing advice and guidance on a variety of ER issues 
  • Coaching and upskilling managers across all levels of the business
  • Using HR systems to record time and attendance 
  • Managing the recruitment cycle from requirement through to selection and onboarding
  • Participate in training and development activities across the site
  • Cover for the HR Manager as and when required
  • Support the team with any other appropriate duties
  • Keep yourself up to date with company policy and procedures

What we need from you:

  • Be Level 5 CIPD qualified or working towards
  • Have demonstrable experience of ER case management 
  • be experienced in uoskilling and coaching line managers
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of employment law and employee lifecycle
  • Excellent computer skills (Word/Excel/Outlook)
  • Data analysis and report writing skills
  • Be self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and have the ability to make independent decisions
  • Be able to work on own and as part of a team
  • the ability to work to targets and deadlines
