 Warehouse Operatives Middleton - Easy to reach location via Bus or Road 

PM Shift 14:30pm-22.00pm Monday-Friday (TRAINING WILL BE 6:30-2PM FOR 4 WEEKS)

Our client is a leading supplier of Football shirts, kits plus various other sportswear.

You will be working in a large modern warehouse with modern well-maintained equipment. Full induction, training and ongoing support will be provided, to make this role as easy as possible. 

Location:            Middleton (M24 area)

Pay:                    £9.75 per hour 

Hours:                37.5 hours per week. 14.30pm-22.00pm (TRAINING WILL BE 630-2PM FOR 4 WEEKS)

Days:                 Monday to Friday

About Us

Working for an established and reputable multi-channel online retailer providing an extensive product range from gifts, gadgets, jewellery, clothes, toys, electrical goods and garden furniture. 

Easy to reach location via Bus or Road, (Close to the M60)

Job Location:                      Middleton (M24 area)                  

Standard Pay Rate:            £9.60 per hour - Weekly pay

Working Hours:                 7.5 / 8 hours per day, 08:00 - 17:00                                             

Days of Work:                    Monday to Friday               

About the role

We are looking for a Goods in section leader to Supervise and assist in the unloading of overseas containers and UK deliveries.

The ability to plan, organise and utilise resources whilst developing and motivating a team of staff

Key Tasks:

-        Unloading Doc 5 deliveries from overseas containers and UK trailers whilst ensuring there are no demurrage charges

-        Back to Line – sent from Failsworth returns

-        Transfers in from other Studio depots

-        Transfers out from other Studio depots

-        Arranging transport/trailers with our Accrington warehouse

-        Recycling collections

-        Chep Blue pallet collections

-        HGV Drivers

Daily & Weekly check sheets and housekeeping

Risk

-        To identify and report risks

-        Raise risk awareness

-        Lead Risk assessment and analysis

-        Develop appropriate and effective action planning to minimise threats and maximise opportunities

-        Accountable to report risk from areas of operation (Function)

Detailed knowledge of policies applicable to area of work and working knowledge of all other policies

What we need from you

• Experience in a warehouse environment with previous supervisory experience.

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• Excellent communication skills and strong leadership abilities

• Know how to use microsoft packages
