Warehouse Operative

Easy to reach location via Bus, Tram or Road, (Close to the M60)

Job Location:                       Oldham (OL9 area)                  

Standard Pay Rate:             £8.91 per hour

Working Hours:                  09:00 – 17:30

Days of Work:                     Sunday-Thursday            

 

What you will be doing

  • Packing healthcare products and checking them off a manual picking list
  • Fulfilling internet orders
  • Checking the packing note against the picked items
  • Packing and labelling ready for dispatch

What we need from you

  • Have strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Have the ability to multi task and prioritise tasks
  • Be enthusiastic, self-motivated and proactive
  • Be willing to ask for help when needed
  • Be a strong team player
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Safety boots and a Hi Vis vest required

Our client is an established engineering firm based in Oldham and are currently looking for a Stores Person to join their busy team.

Location: Oldham, OL4 area

Hours: 0730 – 15.30 Monday to Friday, availability to work different patterns is required, although this vacancy is normally day shift it may have to double shift in the future.

Pay: This is an hourly paid job paying up to £11.00 per hour for someone that can competently carry out the role.  Immediate start, permanent position

Tasks include :-

  • loading and unloading delivery wagons, vans etc
  • checking goods received against delivery notes
  • accurately booking goods in using our MRP system
  • checking consumable stock levels i.e. PPE, oils and coolants, cleaning products to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.

Experience/skills needed

  • FLT with valid licence
  • IT skills
  • Previous warehouse/stores experience
  • Good communicator
  • Unloading and loading vehicles
  • Use of overhead crane a would be advantageous
