Production Operative 

About us - Our client offers a full range of commercial carpet tile collections ranging from luxurious, premium constructions for executive areas and boardrooms to high-performance level-loop constructions designed to meet a budget.

In addition, where statement and individuality are key, our quick and easy custom carpet tile design service enables the creation of bespoke, one-off designs.


Easy to reach location via Bus, Tram or Road, the factories are well connected within minutes of the M62 and M60 with free onsite parking available.

Job Location:              Middleton M24 area             
Standard Pay Rate:     £8.72 per hour - Weekly pay                                                                                                                     
Working Hours:          40 hours per week, Primarily 14.00 - 22.00 however need to be flexible across 06.00 - 14.00 & 14.00 - 22.00.                             
Days of Work:            Monday to Friday             
 
About the role 

We are looking for a Production operative who has experience working in a fast-paced production environment.

What we need from you

  • Previous production experience, running or working on a production line

  • Running the tile machine, placing the carpet material into the plastic moulding.

  • Packing the finished products into boxes.

  • Be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • You will be required to work 2-10 shift following their training on 6-2 shift.
  • Good Verbal Communication skills
  • Safety Boots

Working Hours:          On Average 40 Hours Per Week,  0600-1400. 1400-2200, 2200-0600                           
Days of Work:            Monday to Friday          
 
About the role 

Production Operative – Placing the rubber matting and carpet material onto the production line along with labels. Working as part of a team.  This is a timed function to keep pace with production targets.

Machine Trimming – Placing the completed mat onto an automated edge trimming machine.  Retrieving the finished trimmed matt from the production line.

Manual Trimming – Trimming non-standard sized mats manually by hand, quality checking and palletising.




What we need from you  -Excellent Communication Skills

                                     Able to work in a fast paced environment

                                     Able to work on a 3 shift rotation basis
