Summary of the Electrical Assembler position:

• The pay: £9.70 PH.
• The Location: Rotherham.
• The Hours: Rotating shift pattern: Monday- Friday: 06:00 – 14:00 & 14:00-22:00
• The Job: Your main responsibility will involve assembling electrical products using manual dexterity & hand tools.
• The Person: Previous assembly experience, including wiring, is advantageous.

A successful Electrical Assembler might have:

• Previous assembly experience, including wiring. (Advantageous, not essential).
• Ability to read technical drawings.

Daily duties of an Electrical Assembler include:

• Reading written and digital diagrams and working to customer specifications.
• Working to targets with speed and accuracy, whilst ensuring quality is of a high standard.
• Packing and despatch work.
• Assembly line work.

• The Hours: Days, Afternoons & Nights, working on a continental 5 shift system.

(7 on, 2 off, 7 on, 2 off, 7 on, 10 off)

• The Job: Working in the Cold End department, responsible for operating automatic machinery.
• The Person: A valid Forklift licence is advantageous but not essential. Must have a ‘can do’ attitude. Must be flexible to work shifts outside of normal working hours to cover sickness.

• Ability to work machinery and systems to SOP’s.
• Aptitude to work with machinery.
