About Us

Working for the UK’s leading B2B and consumer electronics repair, refurbishment and return-to-market, service company. The business is based upon supporting major manufacturers and retailers who need to maximise revenue from returned customer purchases.

Easy to reach location - Tram from Manchester/Rochdale to Hollinwood also by 83/180/184 bus from Oldham and Manchester / On site car park.

Job Location:                       Hollinwood, Oldham                  

Standard Pay Rate:             £8.91 per hour - Weekly pay

Working Hours:                   42.5 hours per week                                                 

Days of Work:                     Monday to Friday, 7.30am-16.30pm           

We are looking for a Stores Person to work within the Stores Department controlling stock levels and ensuring that the movement of items is documented.

Specifics:

  • Ensuring that all components/items which move in and out of the stores are documented
  • Raise GNR's for incoming stock
  • Follow procedures for returning faulty stock and update the spreadsheet accordingly
  • Matching components to the right job and issuing them to those that need them
  • Maintain component stock control using PC database
  • Provide feedback to the team leader with any stock issues
  • Update the BOSS repair/tracking system with information as required

 

What we need from you

  • Must be self-motivated and a willingness to learn
  • Previous stores and purchasing experieince - ideally within the last 12 months
  • Good IT skills are essential
  • Be familiar with operational procedures/H&S
  • Must have a keen eye for detail
  • Composite safety boots

Induction on first day, full on the job training. This is ongoing and possibility of a permanent job at the end.
