Van Driver  
We are currently seeking Van Drivers for our well-known Furniture Companybased Ashton under Lyne.
Your main duties will be loading your vehicle for the day and making deliveries in the local area, this can include lifting and assembling furniture.
Location: Ashton Under Lyne
Pay Rate: £9.00p/h
Days of Work: 5 Days between Monday to Sunday so you will be required to work some weekends
Hours of work: 09:00 to 17:30 Flexibility required on timings
Duties involve

• Working in two man teams you will have a drivers mate to assist
• Deliveries of furniture and home products to customers’ houses so a good level of customer service is required.
• Loading and unloading vehicles

Please note that some of the products can be heavy/ large. Previous experience in a similar role is essential.

Easy to reach location via Bus, Tram or Road, with free onsite parking available.

Job Location: Ashton Under Lyne                      
Standard Pay Rate: £11.00p/h                                                  
Overtime Pay Rate: Overtime available                                                                   
Working Hours: Sunday 23:00 to 07:00 Monday-Thursday 22:00 to 06:00

What we need from you

• Previous experience in a production environment

• In date accredited FLT licence (RTITB or equivalent), unfortunately we can not accept inhouse licences

• 12 months Experience operating a Counter balance Truck

• Be confident in communicating with your colleges

• Have strong communication skills both verbal and written.

• Have the ability to multi task and prioritise tasks.

• Be a strong team player.

Our client is a leading manufacturer of high-end quality beds and mattresses. They are looking to recruit a team of experienced operatives.

Job Location: Ashton-under-Lyne     
Pay Rates: £10.00/h
Overtime Pay Rate: from £14.25p/h to £19.00p/h                                      
Days of Work: Monday to Friday
Hours of Work: Sunday – 23:00 to 07:00 Mon- Thur 22:00 to 06:00

About the role

We are recruiting for experienced Production Operatives to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment based in Ashton Under Lyne. There are a variety of production roles within the company which are set out below.

• Mattress Line – Working on a Mattress production line as part of a team placing layers of foam and other materials onto the mattress. This is a fast paced physically demanding role.
• Adhesive Line – Supervising the adhesive levels throughout the production line and filling reservoirs.
• Box Line – Constructing large cardboard boxes to contain the mattresses. Removing filled box from the end of the production line, sealing box and palletising.

• Have previous proven experience working in a production/manufacturing environment (min requirement 12 months)
