Having spent 5 years within Industrial Recruitment in the West Yorkshire area Luke has recently moved into the Branch Manager role at Kingdom Recruitment Wakefield. Luke is excited at the prospect of taking the branch forward as he prides himself on building relationships with clients and candidates alike. In his spare time Luke plays and follows rugby league, goes to the gym/trains often, BUT on the other hand he is a self-confessed foodie and enjoys ‘socialising’ with both with his partner and friends.

Contact Recruitment (Acting as a recruitment business) are recruiting 5 x experienced part time warehouse operatives on behalf of a prestigious client in the WF2 area of Wakefield.

In this role you will be working for our client who distributes clothes on behalf of various household name fashion brands.

 Key duties may include scan picking/packing in a busy warehouse, and general housekeeping in a fast-paced environment and whilst full training is given, an element of previous experience of either picking or packing is highly desirable.

The successful candidates will be working full time on a temporary to permanent basis whereon completion of a successful 12 week probation period will be offered a full time contract (assuming general measures around timekeeping, attendance, attitude & ability to carry out duties effectively are met).

Please note that due to transport links at shift finish time, successful candidates will have their own transport or live in the immediate locality.  

Shifts available;

15:30 - 00:00  Monday-Friday or Sunday-Thursday

 

£8.72 up until 10pm and £10.90 from 10pm - midnight.

Vacancies have arisen for roles based out of our client’s site in Leeds.

 

The positions include:

·Performing time sensitive collections

·Deliveries to their varied customer base from our Inland Terminals, whilst complying with road transport legislation.

Other duties may include:

·Trunking to the Ports.

 

The successful candidate must have a flexible approach to working, with a willingness to undertake a varied work pattern, including nights and weekends, at short notice.

 

Experience in containers and an ADR would be preferred, but not essential as training is provided

 

This is an ongoing contract which could potentially lead to a Temp to Perm position for the right individual

Experience in/have a valid D2 Reach/Refresher within the last 3 years would be Essential. Previous systems knowledge in a warehousing environment would be a distinct advantage. Any use of systems such as SAP or Red Prairie would also be a distinct advantage.

Whilst an FLT licence is essential, this is not a pure FLT role and a major part of the role will be warehouse admin orientated and the successful candidate can expect to be involved in all areas of warehousing.

We are delighted to be recruiting ad-hoc labellers for a prestigious client in the Castleford area.

The successful candidates would ideally have previous warehouse or tablehand experience, in a fast paced role.

In this role you will be labelling electrical products to ensure that they are ready to be distributed to different clients.

The position is based on an ad-hoc basis so we can't guarantee work everyday. But for the right people, other opportunities might be available in time.

Hours of work will be Mon - Fri 8am-5pm.

The successful candidate will have a valid Reach & Counterbalance licence passed or refreshed within the last 3 years. Whilst an FLT licence is essential, this is not a pure FLT role and a major part of the role will be warehouse admin orientated and the successful candidate can expect to be involved in all areas of warehousing.

Due to this, experience using Warehouse Management Systems or a general good knowledge of computers would be advantageous.

The position is Full time on a ongoing basis where a full time contract will be offered to candidates who excel in this role.

Hours of work will be Mon - Fri 6am-1.30pm and 2pm-9.30pm on weekly rotations, so this is therefore a 35 hour week.
